We had a fantastic day with Sandra and Darwin they made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived till we left not visitors but friends, we took our two grandchildren with us as a special surprise while we were on holiday in the area .Sandra and Darwin are passionate about their owls and want everyone to share their knowledge and love for the owls, it is also a privilege to be the only people there as they only do 1 booking a day so you are not rushed and can spend time to get to know the owls you hold the grandchildren loved it, Sandra is also keen to show people round her garden where her owls are kept they are extremely well looked after as all their aviaries are tailored to their needs . Thankyou once again for a brilliant day out , one that will leave us with lots of memories to treasure Terry Sharon, Mollie and Nieve

My wife and I visited Sandra and her owls as part of my 70th birthday present. It was a very special day,enjoyable and educational. We had several hours holding and meeting the most incredible birds. THey are obviously very well kept in superbly clean aviaries. The whole visit was very relaxed and I would definitely recommend it.

My husbands 82nd birthday gift from me was a visit to Happisburgh Owl Sanctory and it was everything I could have wished for. We were greeted by Sandra and Darwin and taken to the owl room where several owls were waiting for us. We were offered refreshments and then settled down to watch films of all the owls and learn all bout them. Soon we were holding them, these beautiful owls are so tame it was pure joy. I have also sponsored Little Owl (Munchkin) for my husband and also thinking to sponsor one for me. It takes thousands of pounds to care for the owls and we want to help if only in a small way. Sandra and Darwin provide such care and love and the owls clearly love them both. Thank you for such a Special Day xxx

Amazing few hours, unlike any owl experience you would have had. Such a privilege to get up close and personal to these beautiful birds. Sandra and Darwin are unique in their passion and knowledge of all their owls. Would do it all again. Worth every penny.

What an amazing experience today at Happisburgh Owls! It was just magical to get so close to so many beautiful, different owls. Sandra is an absolute well of knowledge when it comes to her babies and is full of fascinating facts about them. She has hand-reared them all from such a young age that they are more than happy to be held, stroked and even cuddled by humans. Our 11 year old girls thought they were stunning and very funny, as each has their own individual personality. All in all a fabulous day out we would recommend to anyone who enjoys wildlife. Thank you Sandra and Darwin for making us feel so welcome and making our experience very special.

While my immediate reaction would be not to favour the policy of birds in captivity, the educational benefits of the experience provided by Sandra, the first class conditions for the owls, the devotion of Sandra and her team and the character displayed by the different species means it was a day I shall never forget and I trust a visit will encourage people to campaign for the preservation of the environment for these wonderful creatures. It is clear that Sandra herself is a wise "old" owl and she deserves enormous credit for her work in preserving this endangered species. Please do support this excellent venture. It will live in the memory.

My family and I visited Happisburgh Owls yesterday and had a fantastic day! We had the warmest of welcomes and couldn’t have asked for better hospitality throughout the day. Sandra’s love for her gorgeous birds was undeniable and it was obvious how well cared for they are. We all learned a lot from Sandra and her helper, Darwin who shared their abundance of knowledge with us. It was fantastic to be able to be up close to these amazing birds, and to stroke and love them! They really provided us with happiness and joy and I’d even say therapy for the soul! We all had smiling faces all day long and thoroughly enjoyed our time with Sandra and her owls. We will definitely be back for a visit in the near future!

Our YoungEyes group from The Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind had the most fantastic and magical time with you and your wonderful owls last Tuesday. You have certainly created a most unique experience for the folk who visit you and who you welcome with such warmth into your home. The happiness that you and your owl friends bring into the lives of all who have the privilege to visit you is very special, indeed the smiles on the youngster's faces say it all. You are a very special lady Sandra.

If you love Owls this is the place for you, me and my family came here Aug !st and had the time of our lives, as soon as you walk in and meet Sandra you are at easy, she is a lovely person very friendly and very knowledgeable about the Owls, and with in the first 5minutes of hearing her speak about them you are left in no doubt of how much she loves her Owls,and when you see her with the Owls its clear they love her just as much, the Owls homes are kept very clean and the Owls are in pristine condition, which is a credit to Sandra and her team.
You get to hold all the Owls that dedeide to come out that day,(YES YOU READ IT RIGHT) the owls decide if they want to come out of the cage they are in , if they dont want to then Sandra does not force them to , This is not a Zoo where the animals have no choice to be on display which again is credit to Sandra and how her and her great team run this place , the Owls that came out on our visit were just fantastic , let me say now you have no fear of them attacking you these beautiful birds sit on your hand lookinh around you can stroke them under there chins which they love and even snuggle them and kiss them , these birds love the closeness of you.
This lovely place is for all age's from the very young to the older person , my Mother who is 91 years old loved it as did we all, all i can say is to everyone who reads this the Owls are fantastic and the experience is enhanced by the lovely Sandra and her great Team.

It was well worth travelling half way around the world. Sandra you are amazing. The owls are so content and such characters. It was the best day of our holiday. I would encourage everyone to experience it.

As soon as you enter the gate you are the VIP; there is just you, Sandra and, of course, her owls. The only thing that is more important than you are the welfare and contentedness of the owls. It is quickly evident that she is passionate about wildlife and owls in particular. Immediately you feel like a friend rather than a client as Sandra imparts a wealth of information in a relaxed and conversational way. Sandra’s love for her owls is so evident from the outset as is their love for her and it’s this special bond that allows a visitor to share in this unique relationship. You cannot help but be drawn into the magic that is owls.
The experience can only be described as ‘up close and personal’; you can’t get any closer than having an owl perched on your gloved hand (several times!) or any more personal than a viewing tailored to you and no one else.
Sandra, giving this review a 5 does not do justice to the time we spent with you, 10 out of 5 is easily awarded. Thank you for ‘raising smiles’ and the fantastic memories you and your owls have generated. We would be surprised if we are not drawn back in the future. -
I came to visit Sandra and her owls with my family for my special birthday trip. We were all amazed at how wonderful it was. Sandra explained all about her owls and we got to hold them all. My grand daughter was thrilled . We had our favourites but for me it was Mumbles who made himself comfortable on me and went to sleep. It was the most facinating experience for us all and I would recommend it to anyone. I shall look forward to my next visit

Feb 12 2017. Really enjoyed visit. Our granddaughter was thrilled to see and handle such a delightful group of owls. Lots of time to hear about the owls and to handle each one for photos. Relaxed and pleasant home location with snacks and drinks - helped by Sandra's Mum. Don't be scared by the thought of handling them - lots of small and medium birds - all with lovely temperaments.

What can I say , we where made to feel so welcome, made time to speak to us and very knowledgeable about all the owls . It's very clear everyone there is so passionate about the animals so nice to
see . These birds are so beautiful, but are in trouble in the wild we need to do all we can for them , educating people about them is one of the best ways. Keep up the good work x
